6 Weeks → 20 Minutes: Multi-Agent Course Generation for an Edtech Platform

The Challenge

An edtech platform that converts dense client documentation — safety manuals, SOPs, technical textbooks — into interactive digital training courses for workforces across manufacturing, mining, healthcare, and construction was hitting a wall.

A single training module used to take one to six weeks of manual storyboarding, curriculum design, and visual production. One client alone had 40,000 SOP documents waiting for digitization — an impossible backlog that represented years of work that would never get done.

What We Built

60x built a multi-agent course generation engine that ingests any document and produces complete courses with:

• AI-generated infographics tailored to the source material
• Interactive JavaScript simulations (like a Hooke's Law spring simulator or a welding parameter tool)
• Quizzes and assessments aligned to learning objectives
• Drag-and-drop exercises for hands-on engagement

The entire pipeline — from raw document to publishable course — now runs in 15–20 minutes.

The Results

• Course creation time: from 1–6 weeks per module to 15–20 minutes, fully generated
• Cost per course: under £100 in compute, compared to weeks of billable manual labour
• Backlog unlocked: 40,000 SOP documents went from impossible to commercially viable

The Compounding Effect

The platform didn't just get faster at making courses. They changed what they could say yes to. Before 60x, a client with 40,000 SOP documents represented an impossible backlog — years of work that would never get done. After 60x, it became a viable commercial opportunity.
